(Politico44) — President Obama took four questions at a “news” conference today to talk about his plan for the economy and Europe. His only semi-interesting answer was in response to a question from the AP on how he thinks he’ll fare against a Republican next year if the economy is bad.
Obama shrugged off the premise. “The least of my concerns, at the moment, is the politics of a year from now,” Obama said at the presser in France at the end of the G-20. “I’m worried about putting people back to work right now because those folks are hurting and the U.S. economy is under-performing.”
