(HuffPo) — Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) wrote in a thank you letter to his campaign contributors that he was thinking of new ways to thank them, including “texting and sexting.”

“I thought about lip-synching Eddie Fisher’s version of ‘Danke Schoen’ on YouTube. Other possibilities suggested themselves — some combination of friending, tweeting, texting and sexting,” wrote Frank in the note obtained by Politico Influence.

Frank, who paid back $100,000 in loans the third quarter to be debt-free, thanked his supporters for fending off “last year’s right-wing onslaught.”
