Mitt Romney’s adviser Eric Fehrnstrom, on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell a bit ago, gave the line that the frontrunner’s camp has used to spin Rick Perry’s performance — that he was too aggressive.

Per POLITICO’s Reid Epstein:

“What we saw last night with Rick Perry reminded me of an athlete whose had some bad performances and he goes into the next contest looking to pick a fight, and people don’t like that.”

“What Mitt Romney was doing was standing up to a bully. I think Rick Perry was acting like a bully.”
