Nancy Pelosi blasted the Republican sponsored bill to protect taxpayers from subsidizing abortions today.
If Republicans voted for the bill, she insisted, “they will be voting to say that women can die on the floor and health care providers don’t have to intervene if this bill is passed. It’s just appalling.”. . .
This afternoon, however, eleven of her Democratic colleagues joined Republicans to pass the bill in the House. The list:
