(Washington Examiner) — President Obama, making the case for new tax increases in his latest deficit reduction plan, did concede that he, personally, prefers not to pay more taxes.
Speaking in the Rose Garden, Obama said, “I promise, it’s not because anyone looks forward to the prospect of raising taxes or paying more taxes — I don’t.”
Indeed, dislike of paying taxes runs in the Obama Administration, so much so that at least four of Obama’s cabinet nominees had to explain some variation of a tax evasion or error.
