Attention whore pandering to the left’s visceral hatred of Palin.

(Briefing Room) — Meghan McCain, daughter of former presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), wants her father’s former running mate, Sarah Palin, to “stop flirting” with possible presidential candidacy.

“Fish or cut bait, Sarah,” McCain wrote in a column posted by the Daily Beast on Tuesday night. “Either put your hat in the ring and show America what you want to do with our country, or step back and let other politicians whose time has come have their moment.”

Although Palin has yet to announce her 2012 plans, she told Fox News last week that she is “still thinking” about waging a bid, and would likely decide sometime in August or September.

“Granted, trying to predict Sarah Palin’s next move is like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall,” McCain wrote.

Watching Palin as she “teases and distracts” attention away from the announced candidates, McCain said Palin seems as if “she’s become the ultimate party crasher for the Republican Party.”
