Who is supporting Huckabee? I have yet to come across anyone who admits he’s their guy.
(Politico)– Former Gov. Mike Huckabee is the clear frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination, according to a national poll of Republican voters released Friday.
The former Arkansas governor and Fox News host leads the pack with the support of 24 percent of those surveyed this month by Public Policy Polling.
Trailing Huckabee are Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney, who both won the backing of 14 percent of the primary voters surveyed. Further back were former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich at 11 percent, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty at 8 percent and Texas Rep. Ron Paul at 7 percent.
Since November, Huckabee has gained ground in PPP’s national poll, while Palin has lost some. Then, he was at 16 percent and she was at 21 percent.
Let’s conduct our own poll.
