(RCP)– Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) objects to two GOP members having a committee vote to repeal health care reform because they took the oath in the House Visitor’s center while watching the full House take it on a television.

“We really felt, since it takes full House action to make you a full member of the House, what was done violates the Constitution,” Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) said at a House Rules Committee hearing.

“Mr. Sessions and Mr. Fitzgerald are members of the House … they are members of the House,” Rep. David Dreier (R-CA) informed her.
