WARREN: “Good. Good. So it’s a good question. So let’s talk a little bit about health care in America, because obviously, it’s really, really important. I had a couple come up to me at a town hall. I think it was about a week ago now. And they described themselves, they walked out, shook hands, and said we have gold-plated insurance, we have the best health insurance available in America, we love our health insurance. At least we did right up until he developed an aneurysm and she developed cancer. And now with that terrific gold-plated insurance, they owe about $100,000 in medical costs. They’re not covered by the insurance. Combination of deductibles and co-pays, of doctors that are out of network of specialists, that their company said that they couldn’t — their insurance company said they couldn’t see, all the pieces. It was some here, and some there, and some here, and some there. I meet people like this all the time. They say, I met a woman who said I have terrific health insurance, wonderful health insurance, right up until I developed a life-threatening disease and it cost $125,000 for my treatment.”
