KANSAS CITY, Kan. — UPDATE, 8:15 a.m. | Police say all four of the dead were Hispanic – one in their late 50s, one in their mid 30s and two in their mid 20s. Police estimate that 40 people were in the private club at the time of the shooting.
Authorities are investigating whether one of the suspects may have been involved in an incident at the club earlier in the evening and then returned.
Police remained on scene as of 8:30 a.m.
EARLIER | Four people were killed in an overnight shooting at a bar in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
Around 1:30 a.m Sunday., officers responded to a shooting at Tequila KC Bar at 10th Street and Central Avenue.
Police said the suspect(s) entered the bar and started shooting.
