Barriers work. Now, we just have to hear what the backstory is.
Via Fox News:
Three men were killed late Friday when their vehicle drove through a gate at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia and collided with a security barrier, base officials said.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. when the vehicle approached the Russell Parkway gate, but failed to stop as ordered by the sentry.
As the car accelerated through the gate, security personnel activated the barrier, which the vehicle struck “at a high rate of speed.”
