This isn’t the first time this has happened to him. At least one other time, in 2013, you can see him here with his eye completely red.
Generally, such things are just a broken blood vessel in the eye. Sometimes things like high blood pressure, other conditions or blood thinners can be involved. He’s had two prior brain aneurysms.
But he continues to have trouble.
