President Trump said Friday that the decision by the Justice Department not to prosecute fired FBI Director James Comey for leaking memos showed fairness on the part of Attorney General William Barr.
“The fact that James Comey was not prosecuted for the absolutely horrible things he did just shows how fair and reasonable Attorney General Bill Barr is,” the president said in a tweet.

“So many people and experts that I have watched and read would have taken an entirely different course. Comey got Lucky!” he added.The DOJ’s Office of Inspector General said in a report released Thursday that the department had decided not to prosecute the former top G-man for retaining memos about his conversations with Trump and for disclosing one such memo to the media through a friend.
