While President Trump has raised the conditions of Baltimore and Nancy Pelosi’s own district, Pelosi is off on a vacation. She is famous for making use of the CODEL, the Congressional delegation trips, to fly on our dime in military planes to great places. She went to Venice and Africa with a lot of the Congressional Black Caucus, including Ilhan Omar.
Here she is chowing down with Ilhan Omar and Sheila Jackson Lee, among other members, at a Cipriani restaurant in Venice. Contrary to what is said there, Elijah Cummings was not with them, he was not part of the delegation. John Lewis was on the trip.

Pelosi was also spotted at a posh 5 star rooftop restaurant at the Hotel Danieli.
