OMG I thought they were being metaphorical when they said their hands were glued

Environmental protesters have glued themselves to the doors in the Rayburn tunnel of the Rayburn House Office Building. They are saying “this entrance is closed. Congress must declare a climate emergency.” Members walking by en route to votes–@ChadPergram pic.twitter.com/EctJQ5O54d

Chaos in the Hill tunnels. Protestors are blocking tunnels to Cannon/Rayburn buildings. You literally may have to climb through body parts to get through. Protestors suggest if that’s hard, imagine worsening climate change problems. pic.twitter.com/VJ5ObWLHUr

So they’re trying to block members of Congress who go through the tunnels and doors.
But it doesn’t work so well for them, as you can see they ripped the woman off one of the doors. She’s missing in the subsequent pics and so members are able to get through and these idiots just look stupid.
The environmental demonstrators who have glued themselves to the doorways in the Rayburn tunnel keep chanting “This entranceway is closed..” which it isn’t as USCP have set up the doorway so mbrs wind their way to the Rayburn tunnel for votes on the flr pic.twitter.com/bx5b0i3bWF

Environmental protesters have glued themelves to the doors in the Rayburn tunnel. They are saying “this entranceway is closed. Congress must declare a climate emergency.” Big contingent of USCP & DC Fire Dept here. Members walking by en route to votes pic.twitter.com/Xtz2mqNziW

The environmental protesters who have glued themselves to the doorjambs in the Rayburn basement will not give their names. Nor will they answer my questions as to specifically what substance they used to glue themselves to the doorjamb pic.twitter.com/cX3RUbisz4

One of them even accuses lawmakers who had to squeeze past them, climb over them or walk around them of ‘assault’ for going through them.
Capitol Police explain that if you are touched, it’s assault, but folks still trying to squeeze past protestor’s arms and legs to get past doors. pic.twitter.com/zz1vnKVtS6

Yes I think I phrased that weirdly, the cops told people trying to get through that if the protestors touched them it would be assault, the irony was hearing one of the protestors accusing someone going through of assault.

Obviously, they used crazy glue…
