Via The Hill:
Aides to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) say the congressman has privately voiced support for impeachment proceedings against President Trump, the Washington Post reported Sunday.
Nadler has not publicly come forward with supporting impeachment inquiries into Trump, despite mounting pressure from within his own party.
On “Fox News Sunday” Nadler said he believes former special counsel Robert Mueller’s report “presents very substantial evidence that the president is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
“The administration must be held accountable,” he said.
Nadler, however, stopped short of publicly calling for an impeachment inquiry.
