This trended all over Twitter yesterday with Democratic politicians like Ted Lieu and Beto O’Rourke supporting her and people creating a #IStandWithErica hashtag.

Today I was verbally assaulted in the grocery store by a white man who told me I was a lazy SOB and to go back to where I came from bc I had to many items in the express lane. My husband wasn’t there to defend me because he is on Active Duty serving the country I came from USA!

But naturally, it was a bunch of hooey.

Here she is backtracking, admitting that he didn’t actually say that.

And saying she was the one who told him to “go back.”

And it turned out he was an an anti-Trump-hating Cuban-descent Democrat.
