Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch told the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees that she never instructed former FBI Director James Comey to call the probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server a “matter” instead of an “investigation.”
Georgia Republican Rep. Doug Collins released a transcript of Lynch’s testimony on Monday.
“I did not,” Lynch told the committee last December when asked if she had insisted Comey refer to the investigation as a “matter.”
