CHARLOTTE, NC — Medic has confirmed two people are dead and at least four more were injured after a shooting Tuesday afternoon on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The shooter is reportedly in custody.
UNC Charlotte’s emergency alert system reported shots fired near the Kennedy building Tuesday afternoon. The campus is currently on lockdown.
Medic tweeted that two victims were dead on arrival, two were being treated for life threatening injuries and two are being treated for non-life threatening injuries. All victims have been transported to CMC.
