Cuomo is desperate for revenue.

Gov. Cuomo said Thursday that he’s been trying to get Amazon to revive plans for a controversial office complex in Queens — but the online retail giant is refusing to budge.

“I’ve had many conversations with Amazon. I hope that they reconsider,” Cuomo told reporters in Westbury, LI.

“Up until now, we haven’t seen any change in their position.”

Cuomo also urged the state Senate to join him in the effort.

“It would be helpful if the state Senate said that they would approve it. That would be helpful,” he said.

Cuomo’s remarks came a day before the New York Times plans to publish a full-page ad with an open letter to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos that says, “A clear majority of New Yorkers support this project and were disappointed by your decision not to proceed.”
