The two brothers questioned by police in the Jussie Smollett investigation, and their lawyer Gloria Schmidt have just left the grand jury room. They gave no comment.

And he had a past history of providing false information:

The feds are also looking into whether he was behind the threatening letter that was sent to him. That would be considered separately in a federal proceeding.
Multiple charges if this is true, both state and federal for false reporting and possible obstruction of justice.
