Paying their fair share? Top 15% already pay 75% of all taxes.

Tax rates were high in the 60s but there were all manner of deductions to get around them. That she would know if she knew any history.

And comparing herself to Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation? Is she kidding? No, Lincoln was not a radical. He was a Republican, trying to save the Union and be true to Republican principals, a party formed on eliminating slavery.

So she would basically tax everyone into the ground, destroy the economy and force people/businesses to flee and it still wouldn’t be enough to achieve what she claims she wants.

As the ATR notes, the Ocasio-Cortez Tax Plan would creates an 82.7% top income tax rate for New Yorkers. So I hope the people who voted for her in New York are paying attention.
