President Donald Trump spoke at length Wednesday about the partial government shutdown, tensions on the Korea peninsula and stock market swings.
But it was a “Game of Thrones”-style poster featuring Trump that was placed on a table in the Cabinet Room that lit up social media. “Sanctions are coming,” the poster read, a riff on the “winter is coming” mantra embraced in the popular HBO show.
The use of Trump in a “Game of Thrones” meme first emerged in early November, when the president tweeted an image of the same poster.
