Former staffers of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign want to meet with him and his top aides to talk about how they can prevent a repeat of problems with sexual misconduct ahead of 2020, according to a report.

More than two dozen women and men requested a meeting to “discuss the issue of sexual violence and harassment on the 2016 campaign, for the purpose of planning to mitigate the issue in the upcoming presidential cycle” via a letter, Politico reported Sunday. The letter, however, does not refer to any specific allegations.

“In recent weeks there has been an ongoing conversation on social media, in texts, and in person, about the untenable and dangerous dynamic that developed during our campaign,” wrote the group. They said they were seeking the sit-down to draft a statement from Sanders on the subject, to formulate a “concrete” response framework, and to secure a commitment to “diverse leadership to pre-empt the possibility of replicating the predatory culture from the first presidential campaign.”
