Apologizes to “everybody” but not specifically to Pompeo.

Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” apologized Friday for calling Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a “butt boy” for defending the Saudi crown prince in the killing of Jamal Khashoggi.
“Please allow me to say this face-to-face,” she said at the beginning of the 6 a.m. show. “The term is crass and offensive and I apologize to everybody, especially the LGBTQ community and to my colleagues.”
She added: “I just wanted to say on camera, looking people straight in the eye: I am really, really sorry.”
On Wednesday, Brzezinski slammed Pompeo for his defense of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, who the CIA concluded ordered the murder of the dissident Washington Post journalist inside the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul.
