Joy Behar slapped back at Kid Rock for calling her a “bitch” on “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning, saying she and the other “bitches” on “The View” would be happy to have him on.
The retort comes after Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, took aim at political correctness during a Friday morning interview.
“People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct and love everybody,” he said. “Except, I would say, screw that Joy Behar bitch.”
Behar responded at the top of her ABC program with an invitation.
“This bitch, and these bitches, would be happy to have you on the show and have a beer,” Behar declared.
“I’m a comedian on a show. Why doesn’t he go after the big shots?” she continued. “You know what’s great? Fox had to apologize for something.”
Behar, 76, celebrated her 20th anniversary on the roundtable opinion show on Thursday.[…]
Later Friday, Nashville Mayor David Briley (D) declared he would not take part in the city’s Christmas parade if Kid Rock stays on in his planned role as grand marshal.
Kid Rock has not responded to Behar’s invitation as of early Friday afternoon.
