A California man who smashed President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a pickaxe last year took a plea deal Wednesday, the New York Daily News reports. Austin Clay, 24, reportedly appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court Wednesday and pleaded “no contest” to “one felony count of vandalism causing more than $400 in damage.” As part of his plea deal, Clay was sentenced to one day in prison (which he reportedly already served), 20 days of community labor, and three years of probation.
