President Donald Trump said Wednesday that claims of racism from Democrats are par-for-the-course recurring inconveniences that crop up more as his ideas gain traction.
‘The word “racist” is used about every Republican that’s winning,’ the president told CBN, a Christian cable TV network, aboard Air Force One.
‘Any time a Republican is leading they take out the “R” word, the “racist” word,’ he said.

On Wednesday night the president tweeted a video ad that tied the caravans to illegal-immigrant crime, publicizing the case of a California death row inmate who killed two police officers after being deported twice from the United States and jumping the border a third time.
Luis Bracamontes famously grinned and swore his way through his trial and sentencing this year, vowing to escape and kill more police officers.
