Democrats get offended when MS-13 members are called animals.

An MS-13 gang member previously convicted of a plot to kill suspected police witnesses in Plainfield faces 16 additional years behind bars after admitting he fatally shot a man during his own initiation into the gang.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office, in a statement, said Jose Romero-Aguirre has pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated manslaughter in the Jan. 9, 2011, shooting of Andres Chach, 22.
Romero-Aguirre, 32, was one of 14 members of the Plainfield Locos Salvatruchas clique, or chapter, of MS-13 indicted on federal charges in September 2013 after a joint state and federal investigation led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Pleading guilty in 2015 to a charge of conspiring to commit murder, Romero-Aguirre — also known as “Conejo” — admitted he had relayed instructions from incarcerated gang leaders to members on the outside, ordering gang members to find and kill the witnesses they believed were responsible for their arrests.
But at the 2016 trial of eight of his co-defendants, county prosecutors said Tuesday, witnesses testified the North Plainfield resident’s role in gang violence wasn’t just talk.
Prosecutors said it turned out he was the man who shot Chach twice outside of a restaurant on West Front Street as part of what they described as Romero-Aguirre’s initiation into the gang. Chach was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Chach’s killing occurred roughly six months before the arrests of the gang members who directed the later murder plot.
