A 15-year-old Nigerian girl who was kidnapped in February by one of the world’s deadliest terrorist organizations, Boko Haram, reportedly called on her government to save her in a new 35-second audio recording, according to local outlets CBS News reports.

Leah Sharibu was abducted from a hostel with more than 100 other school girls but is allegedly the only one still held by the terrorists because she refused to renounce her Christian faith and convert to Islam.

The unverified recording, accompanied with a picture of her in a hijab and sitting on a mat, was reportedly sent to local media on Monday and features Leah pleading for help in the Hausa language. “I plead with… the government and the president to have pity for me and save me from my situation,” she said faltering, leaving some to believe that she was reading something prepared for her.
