His primary for Attorney General is today, so we’ll have to see if this made any difference at all.

MINNEAPOLIS – Another accusation of domestic violence against Rep. Keith Ellison has come to light, and a 911 report corroborates the woman’s claims.
Over the weekend, Ellison, a candidate for attorney general of Minnesota, was accused of physically and verbally abusing his former partner Karen Monahan. The allegations caused another woman’s story of Ellison’s mistreatment and abuse from 2005 to resurface, and this time with new evidence.
The Wright County Republican published an article in 2006 written by Amy Alexander, a Democratic activist, who allegedly had an on-and-off affair with Ellison. In the article, Alexander says their relationship started in 1993, while Ellison was married to Kim Ellison. Their “hot and cold romance” started to go downhill in 1994, causing Alexander to move out of state.
“Our hot and cold romance devolved into a love/hate showdown by spring of 1994. Keith belittled me about my weight and constantly criticized my every word and action,” Alexander wrote. “He ostracized me from the community on whose behalf I had worked so hard to advocate. Feeling exiled I escaped to New York for the next five years.”
