
Apparently, GoFundMe allowed this campaign to go through and didn’t take it down, despite the fact they have taken down bail efforts and supporting crimes in the past. Maybe people need to have a conversation with GoFundMe on why they allowed this. He calls himself a ‘hero’ on the page and the person who set it up calls Trump a ‘rapist.’

The man who allegedly demolished Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a pickax Wednesday got bailed out of jail early Thursday thanks to a GoFundMe campaign.
Austin Clay, 24, was released from Los Angeles lockup shortly after midnight as James Otis, the man who vandalized the same star two years ago, worked on a parallel effort to find him a lawyer and bond agent.Otis, a member of the wealthy Otis Elevator family, said he was getting ready to head to the jail with his $2,000 down payment on the $20,000 bail amount when he learned Clay was sprung.
“As luck would have it, the GoFundMe campaign got there first,” he told The News in a phoneOtis said he still hopes to meet Clay to give him whatever advice he can about the legal process ahead.
Clay was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and likely will be charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney, as Otis was.
