The district office of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) was evacuated Tuesday because of a suspicious package with a label that carried a threatening message.

Here’s what it said

The package had a label that read, “Anne Thrax,” which was taken to refer to anthrax, the lethal substance often sent via the mail in bio-terrorist attacks.

Special: Perfect stock caught trading under secret name.
The building containing Waters’ office was partially evacuated while police and a hazardous materials team investigated the package.

The Los Angeles Fire Department determined that there was no threat from the package.
