Robert De Niro hasn’t made a decent movie in years (unless you consider “Dirty Grandpa” a good flick).
So, in order to get press, De Niro has been on a tear about President Trump. He’s gone to great lengths to shock: at the most recent Tony Awards, where he was giving out a statue, he yelled, “I’m gonna say one thing: “f*** Trump!”
But now he’s getting some push back — even in liberal New York City.
On Saturday, at a Broadway performance of the De Niro-directed musical “A Bronx Tale,” a Trump supporter stood up during the curtain call and hoisted a “Keep America Great!” flag.
