A potential mass shooting in Oklahoma City was prevented by an armed citizen killing the gunman, the city’s police department reported Thursday evening.
CNN had reported a gunman and multiple casualties at Louie’s Grill & Bar in Oklahoma City, citing the department’s Twitter feed.
But the police Twitter feed later reported that “the only confirmed fatality is the suspect. He was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen.”
“Three citizens were injured, two of whom were shot … there is no indication of terrorism at this point,” the Department posted.
