Pretty sad when Harry Reid is the voice of reason.

Former Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid urged Democrats to stop talking about impeaching President Trump, even if U.S. institutions have been “decimated” under the Republican commander in chief.

Some Democrats have called for Trump to be impeached as special counsel Robert Mueller investigates the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia, though other Democrats say it’s too early to talk about impeaching the president.

“I say to everybody, stop it,” Reid told NBC News. “I’ve been through impeachment, and they’re not pleasant. And the less we talk about impeachment, the better off we are.”
