A national march decrying gun violence has been postponed due to heavy snowfall in the area.
March for Our Lives will now be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Gateway Park, Lincoln and North Main streets, in Cedar Falls.
Organizers had said Saturday morning the march would be on if people could get there, but canceled it just before 1 p.m. Saturday.
Cedar Falls was expected to get 14 to 18 inches of snow from a storm that began Friday night and went well into Saturday afternoon.
Participants will march next week from the park down the sidewalks to Main Street and end at Fifth Street, near the offices of U.S. Rep. Rod Blum.
