Students should boycott the Sunshine State for spring break until lawmakers pass sensible gun control legislation, a Florida teen who survived the Parkland school massacre urged Saturday.
In a tweet likely to sent shivers down the spines of tourism officials from Miami to Jacksonville, Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS senior David Hogg called on young gun control advocates to take their kegs elsewhere.
“Let’s make a deal DO NOT come to Florida for spring break unless gun legislation is passed,” he tweeted to his 213,000 followers. “These politions (sic) won’t listen to us so maybe the’ll (sic) listen to the billion dollar tourism industry in FL.”
