Laws? We don’t need no stinkin’ laws.

The vandals who destroyed a Confederate monument in North Carolina got off scot-free in court on both Monday and Tuesday.
Durham, N.C., Judge Frederick S. Battaglia Jr. deemed one suspect in the incident not guilty and annulled charges against two other protesters. District attorney Roger Echols announced these actions made proceeding in court with the remaining protesters irrational, reported WRAL.com.
“I do believe the evidence supported the misdemeanor charges, and we proceeded on those charges,” said Echols. “Acts of vandalism, regardless of noble intent, are still violations of law.”
