The National Republican Congressional Committee released record-breaking January fundraising numbers on Tuesday that topped those of its Democratic counterpart.

The NRCC outraised the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee for the first time in eight months, even with the DCCC seeing its largest January fundraising haul to date, NTK Network reports.

The House Republican fundraising arm raised $10.1 million, upping its record by $3.6 million and putting its cash on hand at $50.6 million going into the 2018 midterm elections.

The Democratic fundraising arm raised $9.3 million in January, putting its cash on hand at $43.8 million.
