Feel free to go to the story, but I’m not citing more than a line of this anonymously-sourced nonsense. So I’m just going to point out the problems in the story.
First problem, Rod Rosenstein testified under oath that in December that “Nobody has asked me to take a loyalty pledge, other than the oath of office.” And the meeting alleged by CNN in which Trump is supposed to have made his remarks preceded that testimony as they themselves noted. “Rosenstein’s meeting with the President came as Rosenstein prepared to testify before the House Judiciary Committee.”
Second, does anyone think that Trump is that stupid, or if you do, that the minute he said it we wouldn’t have heard about it before now?
Third, anonymous source, again.
Fourth, one of the three reporters on the story is Laura Jarrett, Valerie Jarrett’s daughter.
Fifth, how is even what they alleged obstruction? Obstruction requires some form of a predicate act. Saying “Are you on my team” whatever that means isn’t that.
Pardon me, if I don’t believe this story.
