The Root even wrote a whole story speculating on the signature and saying this:

This despite the fact that the note said he would be briefing everyone today. As he did.

Maddow, of course, spawned all sorts of crazies on Twitter to suggest this was just a fraud.

Well, I hope they were all watching as Dr. Ronny Jackson (yes, he is real, you silly people) laid out in every possible detail Trump’s health and declared him in excellent health, “fit for duty” and “very sharp.” And yes, Jackson said no one had ever shared as much detail before, and he should know since he was also Obama’s physician.
