TV talk-show host Oprah Winfrey is mulling a presidential run after delivering a well-received speech at the 2018 Golden Globes on Sunday, according to a new report.

After receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, Winfrey spoke about the importance of the #MeToo movement, the need for gender equality, and heralded the need to resist tyranny and support an independent press.

“I’ve interviewed and portrayed people who’ve withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights,” she said.

The speech sparked open discussion among many liberals that Winfrey might be a strong 2020 presidential candidate.

“Call me @oprah. I’ve got some Iowa county chairs who would love to hear from you,” tweeted Brad Anderson, who served as Barack Obama’s Iowa spokesman in 2008 before running the former president’s entire Iowa operation in 2012.
