Their argument is that it isn’t connected to the protests even though it’s from the second day of the protests because there had been prior hijab protests on Wednesdays and this was from last Wednesday. This is to discount the right referencing her as part of the protests.

But obviously, the hijab protest is part of the reason that people are protesting the government. It’s all of a piece, so Buzzfeed’s twisted effort to disconnect it is ridiculous.
