The Trump campaign wants the president’s supporters to help name the “King of Fake News” to close out 2017.
The Trump Make America Great Again Committee, a joint fundraising committee between President Trump’s re-election campaign and the Republican National Committee, sent an email to supporters requesting their help in rating the “most Fake News stories of 2017.”
“At President Trump’s request, we are holding a contest to name the 2017 KING of Fake News. And we want to hear from you,” the email states.
Trump suggested in a tweet last month there should be a competition to determine which network, with the exception of Fox News, should receive a “Fake News Trophy” based on its coverage of Trump.
