Five teens were arrested Tuesday night after up to 1,000 juveniles caused a disruption at a mall in New Jersey.

The Cherry Hill Police Department said between 700 to 1,000 teens swarmed the Cherry Hill Mall around 7.30pm.

Authorities said the incident began at the JC Penney entrance of the mall located on Route 38.

Video of the incident was sent to Action News and shows the juveniles gathered outside a mall entrance and inside the mall.

Police made five arrests while dispersing the crowd.

When officers were called to the scene, they found the near 1,000 unaccompanied teens around the food court, according to a police statement.
