About 44 countries get to party, 128 not welcome.

UN ambassador Nikki Haley vowed that the actions of nations who opposed the U.S. on a comdemnatory UN resolution would ‘be remembered’ – and now those nations are getting left out of a ‘thank you’ party.

Just nine nations including the U.S. and Israel voted against the resolution at the UN General Assembly condemning the Trump administration’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

The overwhelming majority of nations voted to condemn President Trump’s move. The final vote was 128-9 with 35 abstentions.

That vote came after a veiled threat by Haley, who told member nations in her speech: ”This vote will be remembered.’

Only Guatemala, Honduras, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Togo joined the United States and Israel in opposing the measure. Another 21 countries didn’t show up to vote.

Those tiny nations get to join the U.S. at a Jan. 3d reception, according to a save the date invitation issued by Haley’s office.

Haley ‘invites you to a reception to thank you for your friendship to the United States.’

Longtime allies Canada, Mexico and Australia all abstained from the vote, which was mostly symbolic.
