House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Sunday President Trump’s election “evoked” a response by women who are more comfortable going public with claims of sexual assault against powerful figures in entertainment, politics, and media.
“The election of President Trump really evoked a response,” Pelosi, D-Calif., said on NBC’s Meet the Press.
Pelosi added Trump’s election is the most significant factor encouraging women to speak out.
