That will just convince a lot of people this was a set-up because anything Allred touches is tainted.
Roy Moore’s Senate campaign dismissed the latest allegation of sexual assault against him Monday, and also criticized the accuser’s lawyer as someone who promoted the death of unborn children by supporting abortions.
“Gloria Allred is a sensationalist leading a witch hunt, and she is only around to create a spectacle,” Moore’s campaign said in a statement Monday, calling out the accuser’s lawyer by name. “Allred was the attorney who claims credit for giving us Roe v. Wade which has resulted in the murder of tens of millions of unborn babies.”
Allred is representing Beverly Young Nelson, the latest woman to come forward and allege Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager.
In a press conference Monday, Nelson described one encounter with Moore that occurred in 1975, when she was 16 years old.
