The road to nowhere?

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WSVN) – Former President Barack Obama may get a Broward County highway named after him.

Democratic lawmaker Patricia Williams introduced House Bill 265, calling for a portion of State Road 811 (Dixie Highway) to be named President Barack Obama Highway.

If passed, the designated area would be between Hillsboro Boulevard and Northeast 13th Street.

The one-page bill was filed for the upcoming the 2018 legislative session.
